Water Planning

Committee Spokesperson: Wendy Weaver

The water planning committee focuses on issues and topics directly or indirectly tied to actual water - i.e. H2O - and its many uses in an ecosystem. This includes instream flow like the main stem of the Yellowstone River and its tributaries, but it also includes groundwater, human-made features such a ponds, and even the interplay between plants and soil moisture (evapo-transpiration).

The water planning committee is currently segmented in to the following working groups, each of which has various projects they are working. If you are interested in participating, please reach out to the committee spokesperson above via upperyellowstone@gmail.com.
